Electricity switched on 22nd Nov 1957 Great Gran (Annie Ada) was confirmed at home Wed Nov 12th 1958, by Bishop Gwyer, she was 90 years old. Great Gran passed away Sun March 1st 1959. Will came to tell us Kate was home, been home a week. Had a letter from Winnie 9th Feb 1957 Kate back in Hospital 25th Feb 1957, Kate dies after a long illness 26th June 1957 & cremated at Beckenham. Edie and Will mentioned 4th aug 1957, (friends) Grandad retired from the Dairy after 30 years service with Mortimer's 20th Feb 1960, & started his new job at Lumley & Hunt on the Mon 22nd. Aunt's Cousin Will marries Doris Wilmot 2nd April 1960. Mr Atkins called 12' Oclock to value bed 22nd March 1965. Silver minted 1920 to 19--- sent for valuation July 9th value 33/6. (written in the memoranda part of 1969 diary). Aunty went to Steve and Winnie for tea 5th Jan 1969. Mum and Dad asked Aunty to have our dog Trixie as they were going up to Wales for Dad's mother's funeral, Granny died 27th Feb 1969 and was buried 1st March 1969. Nan went in to hospital 23rd May 1969. Aunt Amy in hospital 12 July 1969, Amy coming home Mon 14th. Steve and Winnie visited 20th July 1969. Nan Grandad and Amy went to visit Nan's sister Minnie at Witham. Minnie's son met them at Malden Sat 11th Sept 1971. Grandad went to Witham to visit Minnie Sat 6th July 1974. Grandad died Fri 11th April 1975. Picture given as a present to Aunty by the painter Mr Tregear, Scene in California, Sept 10th 1983. Ted (Friend of Grandad's who had gone to New Zealand) died March 26th 1987.
